Bananas Foster

INGREDIENTS

quarter cup butter
two-third cup dark brown sugar
three and half tablespoons rum
one and half teaspoons vanilla extract
half teaspoon ground cinnamon
three bananas, peeled and sliced lengthwise and crosswise
quarter cup coarsely chopped walnuts
one pint vanilla ice cream

DIRECTIONS

In a large, put skillet over medium heat, dissolved butter. Stir in sugar, rum, vanilla and cinnamon. When mixture begins to bubble, put bananas and walnuts in pan. Cook till bananas are hot, one to two minutes. Serve at once over vanilla ice cream.
