TEN YEAR FROM NOW...
I know there have been many gags about, "do it now." Such as the one about a CEO who hung a sign counseling this in his office, and the next day his accountant absconded with all the organization fund, a secretary ran off with the CEO's wife and a trusted employee witched to work for a competitor. Well, extremes aside, "Do it now" is a pretty good idea.
Yesterday, I was with one of my friends we were introduced to steemit on a the same day. I asked why he didn't consider blogging on steemit yet spend his entire day on FB. He asked how much I've made and I smiled and told him an estimate. Guess what!
No! He didn't rush for it. That may be your guess. You got it wrong. Hehehe.
He repeated the same statement he said 3 Months ago when we were introduced to STEEMIT. "I will do some research about it".
If you want to learn a new skill, start now! If you want to start some sort of saving - bonds, funds or insurance - start now! If you're considering some investment, start it right now.
I know that the usual excuse for not starting now is "oh, It will take years for me to learn that" or "It will be years before the fund would be worth any real money."
Well, this is a way to avoid that trap -
Just think of what your excuse will be ten years from now!
The same thing probably! Don't you see? A new skill may take three years to learn, but it will still take three years to learn the same skill five years from today.
Waiting will not make the learning time shorter, and waiting won't help your savings any either.
Do it now, start now, or you will be quoting John Greenleaf Whittier's: "IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN"
thanks @desmonddesk the advice is really good when we are here promoting steemit in Uganda so many insults come upon like this is a scam , it is devilish like any way but some that ttok to the step to join are now reaping
That's how life is. . @ireneblessing people make excuses and have regrets to live with in ten yes time. While those who beat excuses and take some steps of action can always celebrate and also have some experiences to share.
Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
