DON'T GIVE UP ON STEEMIT/STEEM
Everyone, you need to understand that Steem has a long way to go. It will get there but we have to have patience and perseverance.
Newbies and minnows and even bigger investors on steem blockchain need to come to this awareness to accept the fact that the state of the current value of steem and SBD is not the destination. Steem as I see, is a moving reinvention with promise for the future.
When i watch young minds who came on the steemit platform with so much enthusiasm and commitment withdraw their creative contents and quit posting on their blog which is their tool of contributing to the platform because of the current price of steem/SBD I think we're missing some seriously obvious low hanging fruit:

Here's it! I spent over 3 years on my personal blog with no single earning from it. Just the passion and the excitement of knowing that the world further than my locality can hear my voice. You see? So why won't I continue to blog here with the incentives I receive regardless of the low price of steem or SBD at the moment.
It shocked me when I asked a few folks in our WhatsApp community why I do not feel their blog vibes no more. The shocking reply was, "my blog don't make better earnings so I await the rise in price of steem" ... Really?
Even life isn't rosey at all time. You face up times and down times. That's what the crypto market also faces. There are times when most coins are mooning, and times when it dip. But a passionate blogger will stick to his or her art.
Are you giving up already?

Compared to the multi years I spent on FB, just to be censored for zero money, steemit looks pretty great right now! I do this, because I enjoy doing it; And IF I make some money; or not, fine by me!
I have found good people on here; and I have learned a lot from posts I find!

Same here, except I had a liberal come on my page, to argue. I debated him until even He saw he had lost. He then proceeded to porn bomb my page. I complained, and blocked him. They investigated the problem, found out I am conservative; so they closed MY PAGE! Then they told 650 people that I had unfriend them!
I started another page, to get pictures of my Grandson, and every time I open it, they begin a concentrated virus attack on my computer! I run Linex, so they can't hurt me; but they are now attacking my browser. They are pure liberal hate!
Am not giving up and I won't bro, a dove will not eat and drink with his owner in the days of plenty only to disappear on the days of want.

We are not giving up , since we have people like you who also support us here. Life generally is not stable , so is everything around us , including steemit.

Depends on the initial flair. Money is a big factor and sometimes not deriving it from where you used to can be discouraging
You are actually right mama @annieben but you see, i joined steemit when the earning wasn't very juicy. I heard of the good old days... And i am hopeful better days will return. So i can't give up.
