Stuff after MMA vs Kung Fu in China
A few months ago, MMA boxer Xu mocked Chinese Kung Ku as a lie with arrogant attitude publicly. After that Taiji master Wei accepted the challenge to defend the title. However, Xu knocked out Wei in ten seconds.
After the battle, Xu is facing ban from different parties. Chinese Wushu Association (martial arts association) blamed Xu who violated the morals of martial arts. Xu's social network account in weibo was blocked. Even Xu's boxing hall was forced to lock up.
In the case, people doubted the practical of martial arts. It also revealed the method that China handling problems. Chinese block the unwanted information rather than introspection. Chinese are indulging in their own culture. To restore martial arts, it is necessary to absorb and learn others' strength. Even Bruce Lee followed a strict diet and workout.
At the end, i would like to share Wing Chun master Wong's video. I think it should be the new direction of Kung Fu in China.
