Solar Flare, Warmer Temps
A quick shout to all my homesteader, farm and gardener friends, We are being hit by a solar flare today. May be a great time to get out and get some gardening done. REMEMBER ware protective clothing and a hat. Also remember to use sunscreen if possible, the UV RAD is off the charts in many places. Also, after this RAD is over temps will fall again. This will create winds and storms in some places. I will be planing my vines today as it is perfect timing here, nice warm top soil and follow it up with mulch to keep the temps from falling to fast tomorrow.
Where at??? We had a meteorite hit near me (in Michigan) last month. We actually heard the BOOM!
WOW! that is crazy, did you get any video of it? The solar flare will hit all of us. In the sun facing portion of the Earth. It should last the day and I will check to see if it will be active tomorrow, i doubt it though. If it is going to be further active, I will make a post.
No we didn't... we were sitting here about 8PM one night and all of a sudden we heard this BOOM like thunder and the house shook. I looked outside and no rain... the dog was pacing and kind of freaked out. I know there are some videos that were running online after it happened and some local news stations were reporting it. Then days after people were actually walking the area where the NOAA or NASA- some government agency- reported the meteor had landed.
Our youngest was out with a friend and he said he had seem the flash in the sky... had no clue what it was at the time.
I'm sure if you google southeast Michigan meteor 2018 the videos would come up. The reports were that it could be seen into Wisconsin and Ohio too.

Thanks for the update. I have my house set up to reduce as much blue light as possible to protect my retina's, but there is some light from outdoors. So I grabbed my filtering glasses. UVA, UVB and blue light rays play heck with retina's and anyone who's retinas are damaged, should avoid these rays like the plague!
That is so true, I never think of the damage it can cause eyesight. Sunglasses for sure - "blue-blockers" remember those lol.
