Achievement 2

Good day fellas, I am @dennylexis and trust everyone is very fine and doing great. I equally very good too.
I thought it wise to complete my achievement 2 and also tell you the importance of security in our day in and day out activity.
Security means been free from danger or anything than can cause pain or you losing something that’s so precious to you.
Security can come in many forms. It can be physical, where we have assigned people or animals serving as watch dogs to our lives and properties , we also have security as related to our online stuff , our networks or emails which may include passcodes or pins before one maybe granted permission to access.

In Steem our security is termed as keys. Without you knowing these keys or having them somewhere which can be your mail, your diary or in an archive you’ll easily trace and as such when you loose your account it recovery process will be so difficult because you have lost the primary entry to your account
Steem has 5 basic keys to which each of them have its main purpose and time to use it.
These keys are;

1. Posting Key: Voting, basic steem posting , editing, following or unfollowing someone is to be done with this. It should be your key for basic activities in everyday

1. Active Key: To do transactions in your wallet, you need this key to help you do that also it’s used to convert steem dollars. This key can also help you power-up or power down your transactions . It helps you to also trade internally and also vote

2. Owner key : it is the most important key and gives you full access and control to your account. It can be used to also vote, post and comment and many more. It also help you to make transactions in your account. It also can give you permission to change all the keys including it self

3. Memo key: This key helps you to directly message someone or receive message from someone in steem . One can conclude that the memo is purposely used for communication encrypted messages

4. Master key: This is the very key you need have before you enter you steem account. This key contains the password and without it you’re more or less like you don’t own an account . This key gives you control over your steem account and it safe not to share it with Anyone

We’re therefore advised to keep these keys at safe places we’ll be able to reach out with problems when there’s the need to use them

Now let’s talk about STEEMIT WALLET
It consists of Steem, steem blockchain dollar and steem power

Steem: it’s used for transactions because it’s the currency used in steemit

Steem blockchain dollar: this is used in internal marketing and trading and can be transferred to another users account

Steem power : this allows some users to given out up votes on blogs and also comment on posts

 How To Power up in Steemit

1. Go to your wallet
2. Find your steem dollar and click on the little triangle next to your steem dollar and choose power up button from the option
3. You enter the amount you want to power up in the pop out
4. On your left down corner of the menu ,Click on power up button
5. Your steem will be power up into your steem power

How to Transfer A Token To another account

As a new comer one of my target is now to learn how to transfer my steem token to a friends wallet or another person’s wallet who may be in need of it.
I will work and do anything possible to know this technique
