I wonder...
After all, he's kind of the mad scientist/entrepreneur of this generation. And Elon Musk never stops talking about building a colony on Mars. So, here's an idea...
Maybe he already did?
This week one of those bizarro (but with tons of fans) online personalities floated the theory that NASA has been secretly kidnapping children and sending them as slaves to a top-secret colony on Mars.
What they forgot to mention is that it's probably Elon Musk selling them snickers bars up there!
Seriously, what kind of a freak show country are we living in?
NASA even gave out an official statement dismissing the story!
Any day now, our presi will probably launch an initiative to save the little martian David Copperfields!
Perhaps the most incredible part of this little story is that people actually believe this drivel.
Every day we see more and more examples of how perception and reality can be completely divorced by people who are otherwise functioning human beings.
Sadly, this mostly happens when shady marketers are trying to scam the most vulnerable.
Luckily, for you there's a better way.

STOPFake news is becoming an incredible problem for modern society. It's just so easy for any old nut-case to put together something that looks compelling and reach an audience for it. And since people these days are often too lazy / don't have the time to do their own fact checking, they'll just believe stuff by default if it looks to have come from a halfway reputable source. There's no easy solution I'm afraid.
Oh, and yes, Elon is in on it.
