Time to Vote for STEEM! Do Your Part to get a STEEM/USD Trade Pair Listed on Bittrex!

You may (or may not) have come across a post or mention of the Bittrex cryptocurrency exchange conducting a public poll through their twitter account to determine which new USD "trade pair" to add to the exchange in 2019.

Why this MATTERS

Now you might be thinking "Oh someone is always asking us to vote-for-this and support-that.What does it MATTER?"

The reason this matters is that one of the things that have always always slowed the growth of the community is the difficulty getting onboard here, especially when you are trying to power up.

You have to transfer fiat to an exchange, then buy one of the major coins; then exchange that coin for Steem, and then send it on to your Steem wallet here.

With a STEEM/USD trade pair on Bittrex, we would be able to go directly from a fiat currency (in this case USD) to Steem... no intermediate steps or the associated fees. THAT is why it matters. THAT is why being part of this community movement (as we have done successfully with exchanges in the past!) is important!

What You Need to Do:

What's needed from you will take all of 10 seconds!

1. Make sure you are logged into your twitter account.
2. Follow this link to the original Bittrex tweet.
3. REPLY to the Bittrex tweet, making sure your reply includes both $STEEM and #Steem. You can see my example in the photo below.

If you feel so inclined, you can also retweet to your twitter followers.
