I Have NO Idea What's Going On Out There...

I suppose I should be happy, because recent events around here suggest that winter is leaving us, and spring is almost here.

When I came to work this morning, it was a beautiful sunny spring day, here in Western Washington. 

Then I poked my nose outside to go get some lunch-- I'm working at our art gallery today-- and I was greeted by this:

Heavy clouds, and almost a blizzard out there! In fact, it got thicker than this, in a matter of minutes, and the snow started to stay on the cars and the grass. 

Looking across the street, it did not look at all like anything but we are going right back to wintertime!

I snapped a couple of photos because I also wanted to share a little from the town we live in. Since we're trying to build community here on Steemit, I like the idea of us becoming more human to each other!

Then, no more than ten minutes later, I went to take a bag of garbage out to the main container, and guess what? Not just a bit of clearing, but for all intents and purposes, almost no sign that it was mid-winter, ten minutes earlier-- looking up the street, same view (almost) as the top photo:
