Chicken and Dumplings Recipe by @deliverance

This delicious recipe will have you begging for seconds. I know a lot of people out there who are sick with the cold/flu and this you help you feel better!
For this recipe you need

  1. A whole chicken
  2. 2 cups of chicken broth
  3. 2 small cans cream of celery
  4. 2 small cans cream of chicken
  5. Sweet onion
  6. Bag of frozen green peas and carrots
  7. Salt/pepper, parsley, and other spices of your choice
  8. Biscuits of your choice

Put salt/pepper and your spices on the whole chicken before putting it in the crock pot. Add the chicken in with 2 1/2 cups of water. Let this cook for 3-4 hours on high.

After the chicken has been cooked, take it out and let it cool down. Pull all the meat off the bones.

Add the cans of cream of chicken and cream of celery into the crock pot.

Chop up the onion and add to the mix with the green peas and carrots. Then add all the shredded chicken meat in. Cook for 30-45 minutes on high.

Bake a batch of biscuits and after they cold down from the oven cup them into six pieces and add them into the mix.

Some people will add Bisquick into the chicken soup but I don't like it cause the batter isn't cooked all the way. By cooking biscuits in the oven, they are fully cooked to perfection. Adding them into the soup with soften it and make it even better!

I've seen some people put a lot of red pepper to make it spicy hot! I hope you like this recipe!
