UFO

When I was about 5 years old, I remember going outside at night and seeing something that I later guessed could be a UFO.

We lived at the end of a road in rural northern Canada. It was so rural that we had neither electricity, phone or running water. it was just a farm at the end of a dirt road, completely isolated from civilization.

Our house had a long field in front of it. We grew hay there for our horses. I think it was about 1.5 or 2 km long and 500 m wide, but I am not completely sure. The road ran alongside the field on the left side and the end was deep forest and other side were both deep forest.

That night I went outside for a pee and saw a very bright light in the treeline at the end of the field. I guessed it must be the headlights of a truck, but I didn't really think about the fact that nobody would be around there then and also that there was no road back there. I went in and told my mom and she came out and saw it too.

I don't remember what happened after that. Did it disappear? Did we just go inside and forget about it? I have no idea. But in retrospect, maybe it was a UFO. She guesses it was, too.
