What? What? A Realization About Posting on Steemit!

During the last couple of days, two of my posts were noticed not only by a number of minnows, but also by a couple of whales:

You can very well imagine the excitement and gratitude of a Steemit newbie, getting $20 per article!

And then I realized something. Photography is my hobby, and I've always wanted to become a professional photographer. By definition, a professional photographer is not someone who has a ton of experience or is particularly good at taking photos. A professional photographer is someone who is getting paid for his photos.

So, thanks to Steemit, I'm a professional photographer now (hopefully a good one, too)!

But wait, there's more - one of my univeristy degrees is in Journalism and Mass Communication. And since I almost always write a short story to go along with my photos, I'm now effectively a professional journalist as well.

So, I'd like to take everyone who made this possible - you can see their names in the upvoters list in each of these articles.
