Do not be afraid, nor let your heart fail.

And David said to Saul, Let no man's heart fail because of him; thy servant will go and fight with this Philistine. 1 Samuel 17:32

I am still trying to understand why God instructs us not to let our hearts fail. Doctors often times encourages patients with some impending problems with their health to always exercise in other not to risk having a heart failure. You see, right from when civilization took it's cause, there are so many things that's been happening all round the globe. No doubts there's been so many remarkable inventions and technological advances in the world. Thus, some of these evolution has brought about some mishaps and dangers to man kind.

Recently we are faced with the pandemic that has caused turmoil in the world. For weeks people have been locked up at homes and public places became lone place. Of course I have been very scared. I remember praying to God to spare me that I needed to marry and have kids before dying. I was so afraid that my heart seem as though it was gonna fail me, but thank God for he has kept me thus far.

In the Bible verses of reference I Sam. 17:32

Let no man's heart fail because of him the Philistine.

This statement of course was borne out of the confidence that David had developed and rooted in the word of God rather than on confidence of his competence and past victories over the bear and lion that came to take out his father's sheep.
This total dependence of David on God is of course what made him succeed. I pray for you, your heart shall not fail you in Jesus name, amen.

Thank you very much as you have read my post.
