• The outer skin of reptiles as a result of thickening and keratinization forms scales or shields.

• Its limbs are shaped like legs, which are usually very short. Some do not have them.

• Your body temperature is variable.

• Like fish and amphibians, all reptiles are cold-blooded animals.

• They usually live in warm places and lethargy during winter.

• Breathe through lungs.

• Reptiles have six basic sensory organs: sight, smell, hearing, taste and touch.

• Reptiles live mainly on land. But some turtles, sea snakes and crocodiles can live in the water.

The oldest reptiles that have survived to this day are crocodiles and turtles.
