A Little Reminiscing...

I came across some photos that I took in early Spring that I'll be sharing with you today.

I took these photos at Jerusalem Mill Village in Baltimore County, Maryland. I know it was just this Spring but it already feels so long ago.

I love Winter and seeing snow but I'm not a big fan of the cold. I have a feeling it's gonna be a pretty cold Winter so when I came across these photos I was happy to reminisce a little about that warm day in late April.

The trees were full of new Spring foliage and they looked especially pretty by the water. I also have a fairly new respect for the beauty of the boulders that I see thanks to @shasta!

I remember marveling at seeing a different view of the Jericho Covered Bridge near Jerusalem Mill. I've been through the bridge several times and have seen it briefly but on this day I got to just stand for a bit and see the full beauty of it. The covered bridge was recently renovated and looked beautiful nestled by the water and trees. The boulders under the bridge really enhanced the view, from where I was standing, as well.

When I look at the photos and think about it, I almost feel like I am right back there on that beautiful warm day back in April. Maybe I will just pull them up on the really cold days coming up and remind myself that Winter will fly by almost as fast as this past Spring did and I will greet Spring once again and wonder how did Winter go by so fast.

I guess you could say I have a fickle affection for the changing seasons here but I do love that we get a bit of everything here in Maryland. So, I will endeavor to embrace the coming cold as best as I can with a warm jacket and perhaps a nice cup of hot chocolate or two!
