Step by Step Digital Drawig of the "Battle of the Bastards"

Here is the way I do my digital paintings with Autodesk Sketchbook.

Step one is sketching the backgroud.

Step two sketching the main character.

1. Getting a groundation for the very far background.
   

2. Groundation of the background characters + bluring the airbrush tool strikes to smooth everything out.
   

3. Making some fog with the airbrush tool on 25%.
   

4. Getting the middle character done, the same way like the background ones, just a little bit more detailed.
   

5. Again some fog
   

6. Now its time for the main character (Jon). Again I did the groundation first and smoothed everything out. Tehn I used a "splatter" brush to make him look bloody and dirty.
   

7. Now its time for the Hair, I blacked everything out and go with a thin Airbrush tool from dark grey to white for every strain of Hair.
   

8. Its time for the Armor, its again just groundation and the blur tool just with much more details.
   

And now its time for the last step. Just delete the scetching.
