The palace park, a nice place for kids

Hope you all are well and again started work after enjoying the weekend. We are passing a critical time all over the world due to Coronavirus. This is the alarming situation for all of us. It is suggested not to go out without any emergency.

However, I am lucky enough to visit a nice park with my kids before this alarm came. The name of the park is ‘ The Palace Park’. It is situated in Kolakopa area of Nobabgonj police station under Dhaka district. The park is established beside a river called Isamoti. This is a nice river and people can enjoy the beauty of river form the park. The park is divided into two parts. One part is beside the river and another part is under main building. One foot over bridge has connected this two parts. This is a nice kids part with full of arrangements. My kids enjoyed a lot there. They have many rides inside the park.

The actual name of this place is Radha Naath Shah palace. I published a post about this building few days back. However, after acquiring this building by a businessman Mr. Pokraj, he established this Palace park for kids. This is the best kids park in Nobabgonj police station.

The entry fee is 40 Taka(local currency) for each person. You have to pay for kids as well. Besides the kids, many adults are visiting this place every day to see the historical place. Radha Naath Shah palace is the main attraction for them. They can see the old architecture of the building. The park was build keeping the main building in center. As this is a large place, they have accommodated almost all the rides of a modern kids park.

There is a Ferris wheel in the park. It is placed beside the river. From the top of Ferris wheel, the river is beautiful to watch. It’s a nice view. Here is the picture of Ferris wheel.

There is a mini train in the park. It was nice and colourful. The train goes through a giant monster mouth. It was quite exciting. Here are the pictures of train station.

There is also a merry-go-round in the park. Kids like to get on this ride. This ride was my favourite in my childhood. Now, my kids play with this ride. Great to watch.

The palace park is approximately 20 KM from Dhaka City. If you want to visit this place, you can either go by bus or personal car. The bus fare is 50 Taka. If you hire a private car, it will cost you 2500 Taka. It is one hour drive from Dhaka city.

Last but not the least, this is a historic place to visit which I mentioned in my earlier post. The park is an additional feature you can enjoy.
