Preponderance of Time

When you think of time what crosses your mind? Do you think about how you're always early or on it? Do you think about how late you always are? Do you think of a fancy Rolex? Do you find yourself wondering where it went or wishing it would pass sooner?
Do you think of how far back it goes? When did it started? Who created it? What would it be like to travel through it? What would it mean for our reality if we could travel through it?

Time has always been a very strange concept to me. Ever since I was a child, I would wonder why, when I was doing undesirable things, time would creep by so slow. However, when there was fun to be had, it would pass by so fast that I would hardly have time to enjoy the fun I was having. After the fun passed by so quickly, all that was left to do was spend time reflecting on whatever the experience was.
This happens to this day. Now I am just more aware of it.

We Live in the Past

Though it can be in a split second, every action we make occurs through chemical reactions in our body. Our brains send signals to our muscles to contract or retract. Therefore, whether you know it or not, every move you make is done autonomously. It is so quick that you don't realize your brain is processing these motions before you make them. Knowing this, my ideology is that even though we're in the present, a split second action or reaction comes and goes.

Moments that we truly enjoy become nostalgic. We get bubble guts when certain things reach our senses. A smell can take you back in time to a place you enjoyed. When this happens and people resonate on past experiences, it doesn't matter how fast the time passed. That moment will live in their mind forever. Thus, creating the notion that we live in the past.

Unforeseen Time

Statistical analysis in scientific studies is one of many tools that helps us predict the potential outcome of the future. Statistics show us the tendencies that we have or what can possibly occur in the world days, weeks, months, or years into the future.

We do not know what specifically lies ahead of us i our future. The only thing we can do is prepare ourselves to the best of our ability for each day that passes, in hopes to become a better person than we were the day before.

The Facts of Time

Above I wrote a heartfelt piece on what time means to me. I did not want to post such an article blabbering about my thoughts on time without stating the scientific facts that revolve around time.

1.) In Physics there is no definition for time other than that which states it is measured by an instrument known as a clock.

2.) Physicists believe that there is no such thing as "now" Since space and time are fluid, affected by your gravity and speed, there is a continuous distinction between the past, present, and future. Thus, creating the ideology that we are living an illusion.

(Thoughts)

If you're in New York talking on the phone to a friend in Seattle, you're both in the present. However, your friends **TIME** is a few hours behind. He/she is not 3 hours in the past of your current time, but you can think back to what you were doing 3 hours ago. Recollect on what you did 3 hours ago and realize that's actually what time it is in Seattle, at the specific moment you're on the phone with your friend. To me, **"now"** does not exist because of this as well. Your brain tell your body what actions to make and you can communicate with someone who is in another country that is already a day ahead of you

3.) The sunlight that reaches us is coming from the past. It may appear at any given moment, during the day, that the rays and heat from the sun are hitting you in the same moment they're sent from the sun. This is not the case. Rays from the sun take several minutes to reach earth. So when you see any sort of flash from a star, at night, or sun rays exposed from clouds, realize what you're perceiving has already occurred. You're seeing the aftermath, which appears to be the present
