A #haturday Color Run
I was all ready to do a Graffiti Color Run, when this was taken last year, but it got rained out. I was at Hubby's work waiting for my friend to pick me up when it got canceled. It was a Saturday and he was the only one in the shop so I just waited for him to get off work.
I've participated other years though and it's a fun thing to take part in. The photo below is from when me, my daughter and a friend did it in 2015.

That was a gorgeous white hat... So that's why you called it color run, do organizer throw you colors while you are running? I don't know if we have that kind here. Haturday reminds me what I watched at CNN last night about the royal wedding, all ladies inside the Windsor Castle were wearing customized hats. And it looks so classy with those ladies.
Thank you. Yes, they have stations along the path that they throw colors onto you. Personally, I walk these things, they'd have to chase me to get me to run. :P lol
I missed all of the wedding stuff but from the pictures I've seen in the news, I can see they did have some fancy hats on.

That was not a thing back in the day when I could still run. My grandkids have done them. Too bad it was canceled, you look all ready to go! Cute pic!

Seems everyone been getting lots of rain. I’ve never done a color run in fact I’m not a fan of running at all.
Once in the boy scouts we did three 3 person team a triathlon (perhaps there a different word for it been many years.) I forget if they added in the word “ironman” or not to it. It was canoeing, swimming, and running. I did the canoeing part.
Was lots of fun the lake had high winds and quite a number of the people doing the canoeing part I don't think have ever used one prior to that. They kept missing the checkpoints as a strong wind was giving many of them a hard time. Was a blast to say the least! Even more so when my team was the second wave and we had wait 5-10 minutes before we could start. As they wanted did not want to many people out on the lake at once. Passed up many of the first wave in the water :)
I never run when I do these things. :P In my younger days, the triathlon would have sounded fun. Now it makes me thing of how out of breath I'd be. Ha!!
Backpacking and hiking where more my thing. Still quite a few adventures I'd like to go on one day. I'm way out of shape for things for now. Was hoping to be swimming by this time of the year but this weather is so strange so far.
We're not in good shape either. When we hike, we take the easy to moderate trails. Some of them do us in. lol
Seems fun! I've seemed them offered many times, but I am too lazy to sign up lol. It has been one rainy mess here for days, maybe you won't get washed out this year if it comes around!
It comes here yearly but I've not thought about doing it this year. My friend and daughter are both at new jobs this so its harder for them to ask for it off.
I understand. That is definitely something you want to do with friends or family. It makes it more fun.
