Hello.....Again

Although I have several posts, I have never introduced myself. My name is Deborah Murphy and I was introduced to this wonderful platform by my son @billyman because well, I am opinionated and talk too much. To say I am technically challenged is being diplomatic. Within two days I locked myself out of my first account and was heartbroken as I had a successful ( in my mind with no followers) post with recognition. With no way to recover the work or the account I was forced to create another one on my phone and I have stored the password in 36 locations.

I am a painter but never had an art class or any interest at all until age 40. In fact I applied at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago because it was down the street from the police department. My art career began as a result of getting hitting in the head with a rock while conducting an investigation at the jail. I was knocked out and started painting while recovering. I guess the rest is a typical artistic roller coaster ride. I work in a variety of mediums and talk about everything. I will definitely listen to and respect all opinions. I'm glad to be here.
