An Edict of Humanity
An Edict of Humanity
It shall never be taken lightly, the kissing of a forehead; for that is the seat of consciousness, behind which the soul resides.
Love is sacred.
It shall never be taken lightly, the preparation of a meal; for to provide sustanence to another is divine.
Woman-hood is divine.
It shall never be taken lightly, the offer of conversation; for a conversation is but an offering of time, which is preciously finite.
Kindness is sacred.
It shall never be taken lightly, the obligation to cross boundaries; for arbitrary lines exist only to shutter growth.
Knowledge is sacred.
It shall never be taken lightly, the opportunity to experience; for experience births wisdom and, wisdom can not be learned.
Empathy is sacred.
It shall never be taken lightly, moments spent in silent reflection; for this is when your soul learns from wisdom.
Compassion is sacred.
It shall never be taken lightly, the duty to one's planet; for your earth is your mother and woman-hood is divine.
Give aid to the sick & injured.
It shall never be taken lightly, the obligation to sing; for rejoicing and celebrating life is sacred.
Generosity is sacred.
Joy is a sacred birthright.
