The last 10-15 days a lot of American politicians and economists spoke in negative context about Libra, the planned Facebook-cryptocurrency, about cryptos in general, or Bitcoin. They called them “instruments to finance illicit businesses”, “cause of possible systematic risks”, “risk to the global financial system”. “Can facilitate unlawful behavior, including drug trade”, etc. (See more in my post.)
