Today's sketch - wren

This is a sketch of a Wren that nests in the garden and for the past 2 years has nested in the door frame of the shed. This past summer I got to see her hatch 2 broods of 4 or 5 each.

Birds are a great example of tireless devotion to the task of ensuring the next generation.
