To the Moon or bust.

Here is a shot I took of the moon on a cold summer night while hanging with a close friend.

The Moon's calm cool light is stable, our view of it has phases. Humans have always looked at it in wonder and curiosity. The Moon's placement relative to the Eath has changed life on Earth in ways only modern man are truly starting to uncover. It looks like the new Steem fork has drastically changed our crypto worlds like the Moon changed the hearts and minds of those first realizing what it was. Seemingly payouts have skyrocketed, but will we land gently the moon or crash into the sun. I have said in the past that dystopias always begin with dreams of utopia. There are many paths to ruin and few to succeed. If we are too eager to see a profit over quality what makes steem great will fade away into the dreams of what could have been. Sure votings power is up but so is the now 2% draw from it. This will change voting habits. People will react to incentives in ways we just have to wait and see.

The moon is an unforgiving place. You will boil in sunlight and freeze in the dark.
The changes made to steemit might put you into one of those places, which one I can not be sure. Hopefully, I am over thinking it all, and those in power have run simulations on this. On the effects and affects it will have on the minnows and whales alike. My friends make my worthwhile; they have helped me in ways they will never know. If you had the opportunity to get a friend or family member into bitcoin when it was just starting, wouldn't you? That is how I feel about Steem and Steemit.

The Moon is a beautiful place; even when our vision of it is clouded by all life has. Steemit and its community are similar to the Moon in those way. In just over a week I have found many people I now call friends. Nearly everyone I have met is kind and helpful willing to share what they have learned and what they have. Forks can be scary times, regardless of the monetary outcome of these changes I must employ you to keep the Steem powered train going. There is more here than just crypto, more than just random whales, dolphins, and minnows. There is a heart of pure gold. In times of chaos and uncertainty, will always be the possibility of loss and gain. Remember to keep those people you treasure close. To my friends, I just have to say thank you.
