Tears For Irish Whiskey... A Quick Rant.
There is good amount of disrespect shown to Irish whiskey, that is, in the mainstream opinion at the least. When there is a account of popularity of the global whiskey industry, Ireland is placed somewhere behind the likes of Canada and Japan. Yes, of course, there are some salient reasons for this shitty listing but come on, it's totally nonsensical placing the home of whiskey in such a precarious position.I'm not a great admirer of irish whiskey myself, but at least I recognize their history with the damned spirit and think there should be some damned respect shown.
And also they still pump out some pretty good whiskey (friend tell me).
I like some Irish Whiskey, particularly Bushmills.
I've never had the pleasure of being baptized in Bushmills.
