Gas Station manipulative.
I found this funny and a bit manipulative. I took this photo at the gas station. It may only be me but it feels as if they designed this to plant a subconscious suggestion to use the higher priced Premium gas.
Notice how the Premium gas and the gas handle are both red and how the diagram in the middle shows a finger pointing to the third yellow square, the same position as the premium gas.
I wonder if this has worked on anyone? what do you think?
This probably has worked on others. I actually have a gas station near me that lists the grade in the opposite order. I'm almost positive it was on purpose to get people who will by habit press the button on the right. Normally this is the cheaper option as show above, but in this case it would be the more expensive option.
It's contagious, now I wonder how many other little thing like this exist in out everyday lives.

Never mind, forget my last comment... I just calculated the price of our uk feul in dollars... It works out about $6.42 per US gallon!
Damn! the highest I remember was around $4.20/ gal for regular.
