Fun Moroccan Photoshoot in Marrakech <3
As some of you might already know, my hubby and I are photographers, but because we are always behind the camera we don't really get professional pictures taken together like normal couples (most of the time it's iPhone pics). Since our anniversary was going to fall on a day we'd be on vacation we decided to have a fun photo-shoot in Marrakech, Morocco. We dressed in traditional Moroccan clothing and had our new friend and guide (he works at the Riad we were staying at) take us some cool pictures with our professional camera. We guided him and taught him a little about how to use it and he did an amazing job!
We were so excited to wear our Moroccan outfits! I loved my dress and my hubby's clothes. Moroccans thought we were from there and kept speaking to us in Arabic. It was too funny, but we were glad we had our pal there to translate :D
The first place we went to was the Majorelle Garden (http://www.jardinmajorelle.com/ <Click the link to visit website) which is a beautiful blue building surrounded by a gorgeous garden designed by French artist Jacques Majorelle in the 1920s and 1930s.
The second place was the Ben Youssef Madrasa (https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g293734-d308902-Reviews-Ben_Youssef_Madrasa-Marrakech_Marrakech_Tensift_El_Haouz_Region.html <Click the link to visit website), which used to be an Islamic college in the 14th century. It's the largest madrasa in all of Morocco and it was one of our favorite places we got to visit.
This was one of our favorite pictures where it shows how pretty the tilework was.
