Hi hi Mouse, I’m writing this way earlier than usual, just about to strike 4pm, but my heart is feeling extra full at the moment so let’s get this out on to the blockchain shall we?

Just got home from the doggo lesson with Mom and read a letter Grandma gave her to give me in the driveway… of course I got all misty eyed… the fact that she’s up on my Steemit activities from her smartphone… at 90- damn, what a power house of a lady… I’m so thankful to have her with us still, brain still sharp as a tack and I can’t wait to get the two of you in a room, she already loves you to pieces, and I’m sure you’ll have her laughing and telling her stories. Probably ones I’ve never even heard. You’ve got a way of bringing out legacy in folks I’ve always admired. I’m sure I’d just sit back in awe.

I can’t think of the last time I got a physical letter, but it was probably from her. Maybe that’s why it’s so easy for me to write to you every day, I guess that’s where I get it from. You know us Italians, we turn feels into words, and hugs and food…

I’m thankful to be back in the cool house under the ceiling fan… phew. It’s absolutely stunning out but the sun is beating down at this point. Time to start packing it in, get out of the heat, get that water going and start to get rested.

Glad Liala’s owner wants to book some time for me to pup sit with them, not turning down any work as long as I’m physically able to do it. Thankful to have a little bit of scratch in zee pocket for spinach and almond milk for the week coming up. Gotta stay agile money wise when everything in that top tray bar of crypto prices is RED.

Fast forward a few hours, Dad is outside mowing the lawn. Yes at 7:30 at night right after work- you wonder why Im awuful at resting … The setting sun is coming through my window making long shadows and falling across my face and I’ve got my little kettle boiling away with water for my hot bottle and bed.

Yep, it’s 7:30 and I’m BEAT. More mentally than physically I think, but the heat and extra hip activity is making things all weird and tingly and sore that I haven’t felt yet. Extra turmeric tonight before bed and going to research some joint health stuff as well. I’ll get there, like you said just needs time... and I am indeed, impatient.

One more sprint day tomorrow for both of us. I’m stoked. After that, my Father’s day is going to be a day early with Dad, and hopefully brother on Saturday, and Sunday I go house sitting till Wednesday, so I’m sure I’ll fall into a groove once settled in, just gotta get all those logistics going in between.

I believe you’ve got another hustle day tomorrow as well right? I know you were thinking of hitting shops so maybe that but either way another day to get things sorted, to chip away, to keep showing up and to try again. We never know what the day will bring us right? If there’s anything I’ve learned in recent years is that things can change in the blink of an eye, and all of the things you were so worried about minutes earlier are no longer relevant. -- Yes I’m being mystical, I can’t help it.

Moments, they’re important. Even this one. You’re here, you’re alive and breathing, you’ve got another shot and another 24 hours. Make em count love…
