So for the Diet today:

What I have eaten
Chow Mein: 900
Wonton Soup: 300
1 Coffee/Vanilla Almond Milk: 32
3 Cookies: 660
1 Cup of Milk: 155

Total: 2047/2268

Most likely not the most healthy diet, I have been experimenting a bit, on what I can eat and still stay under the calorie limit for the day. On the bright side, I am getting very close to having all the bad stuff out of my house, and then it is back to spinach carrots, bananas, oranges and all the other yummy good stuff!

I lost 35kg to get to the normal weight.

It is hard and useless to count calories, and sit on a diet that restricts you in something. However it is necessary to count weight of your food.

Few tips you will learn in your journey sooner or later:

  • drink about 1-1.5l of water per day
  • drink water between your meals (10 minutes before the meal and 2h after the meal)
  • weigh and record everything you put in a mouth and make it a habit
  • eat 5 times per day (2 or 3 big meals with 2 or 3 extra snack times)
  • find the norm in meal weight for your age and split it in those 5 times (for men it's around 1500 grams per day or 300 grams per meal)
  • eat 10% less the norm while you are loosing weight
  • try to eat at least 60% of greens and the rest split on those 40% (coffee, meat, snacks)
  • a meal is everything except water and tea (even a coffee is a meal and should be weighted)
  • do not use any diet that restricts you in anything - that is bad. Instead try to find the best food that is good for your health and at the same time not stopping water circulation (when you eat something "bad" or drink alcohol it stops water and you gain weight)
  • food makes 70% of weight, 20% is your mind and 10% physical activities
  • read, read and read many books and articles about how to loose weight and why to do it in the most healthy way (the most important thing)

And yes - do not believe in what I just have written. Take a note of every single point and check yourself - what works for you. You will have to live a normal life and eat when you loose weight. Or are you going to go through such journeys every time you get extra kilos?

You could have take a picture as fabulous as the food seems to be... its great indeed... its a torture to see such a pic..lol. especially spinach carrots

It was yummy, not going to lie, although I should avoid foods like this on a more consistent basis.

that looks good. Don't sweat it. you have to eat. I'm doing a little more portion control to feel less guilty

I'm under calorie count for the day, so I am not too worried about it. The main thing I have changed with this diet is prevent myself from over eating and so far it has been working :)

That chow mein looks delicious.....made me hungry.

Good Chinese food is sometimes hard to find, but once you find that place, keep going back and support that business! :)
