Trumpists Bamboozled by Bogus Pardon Tweets
--Trump supporters try to make the case that the President is not abusing his pardoning power by comparing his pardons and commutations with former presidents, but the arguments collapse
Are Trump's pardons comparable to any other president?

@davidpakman, In my opinion before Election more words of Alliance flows more than Division. Stay blessed.

Yes lets do apply some critical thinking here. You want to compare apples to apples so lets see where those apples fall in comparison.
Obama pardoned:
James Anthony Bordinaro, convicted of conspiracy to restrain, suppress and eliminate competition in violation of the Sherman Act of 1890. The Sherman Act broadly prohibits anti competitive agreements and unilateral conduct the monopolizes or attempts to monopolize the relevant market.
Sound familiar? I am sure Rod Blagojevich thinks so. The relevant market would mean... well the market that was relevant to the crime. But unlike Blagojevich Bordinaro got twelve months in prison, three years probation and a $55,000 dollar fine.
Lets go on shall we....
Laurens Dorsey was convicted of conspiracy to defraud the United States by making false statements to the US FDA. She got five years probation and a $71,000 fine.
I love this next one as these guys were indicted and hadn't even made it to trial before their pardons....but we all know what a soft spot Obama had for Iranians. Tooraj Faridi, Bahram Mechanic and Khosrow Afghahi were all indicted in 2015 for allegedly (remember they were pardoned before trial, how that's even possible I have no idea) facilitating the illegal export of high technology microelectronics and other commodities to Iran. Of course there was no sentence, no probation, no fines, nothing, notta, zilch.
The list goes on and on, aiding and abetting bank fraud, conducting and directing illegal gambling, conspiracy, embezzlement, wire fraud, immigration fraud, firearm offenses, tax fraud, illegal sale of animal parts and yet outside of this last one I'll mention you couldn't add up all these people's sentences and get the amount of time Rod did. The only guy who was pardoned and served a considerable amount of time was a dude for bank robbery, if you took him out of the equation, like I said you could add up all the time given to the others and it still wouldn't equal fourteen years.
I am more than positive, (as we did have a case here that was similar), I could find others out there who've been charged with similar incidences like Rod, they are all corrupt in some way, shape or form whether it's hiring or paying people to run in races to counter the competition (like we had here), to influence peddling, election interference or any other host of ills I am sure none of them came close to Rod's. I am sure bias was involved here, takeover of the political machine, etc., all played part in ensuring Rod was't going to be around for a long, long time.
You know you said something in a video I think the day before the 14th of this month. I had to go to my grand daughters valentine concert so I didn't have time to finish what I wanted to say in regards to that particular statement. You said something along the line of I am going to vote for what's right for the country. Someday you'll sit back and reflect upon your fight, you are young and you really think you can change things or make a difference. I did similarly back when I was in my late teens, early twenties. We even, in concert with Acorn back then when they were more an organizing force rather than the embarrassment they ended up being toward the end, broke police barricades at a democratic convention once to try and get attention from them so they'd look at our platform in hopes they include some of our items in their platform. You unite to fight for things in your community, who you feel would do the best job in office, spending countless hours really under the impression that you makes a difference. I look back at all that now and I think where did any of them take us that ended up being the better for the people of this country? They sold out our good paying jobs that offered benefits, retirements, a comfortable middle class living while simultaneously enriching themselves off their offices. You really can't trust any of them, I am not being bias here either as I've voted more democrats then republicans in my life. I've always been registered as a republican even back at the height of my political activism and against all those whom I worked side by side in the fight. Why? Not because I didn't feel what they were saying didn't hold any weight, I wouldn't have been involved at all with them if I felt they didn't, it was because I couldn't move past the point that those who worked hard in life to become successful owed the rest of the people a bigger chunk of their pie. So I decided I'd stand on a fifty, fifty line so to speak, meaning I could see the argument from both sides. One I actually participated more so in and the other as a symbolism that I could see their point. The overall big picture though is that they are more aligned with each other (the parties) than they'll ever be to the constituency. Nothing either side ever says will come close to whatever is promised. They'll always be some big charade of action(s) among themselves to make it appear blame falls more so to one side than the other but one thing always stays a constant....they never come out the losers regardless. Just as my generation has taken it's share of losses you have to be mindful that there will be more losses to come. Nothing comes to fruition like claimed and in the end it will end up costing you more than it ever will them. At the end of the day they go home to their gated communities living a lifestyle the vast majority could only pretend or retire away in some lavish gated mansion somewhere out of sight and out of mind, out of sync now that I think about it, with the rest of the world and they don't come back out again until they have to go defend what's theirs not yours or mine.
