Pirate parties usually have a platform supporting direct democracy, freedom of expression, transparency/freedom of information, and obviously reform of outdated and pro-corporate copyright laws. It's all pretty sensible really, as far as I know they haven't really had any major legislative success yet.

I have heard about them, but the only one that i know a little is about the pirate piraty of sweden, and the relation with pirate bay.
