Parts of Putian Village that Struck My Emotions - China 中国莆田老村- 足以令我情绪激荡的地方

I was in complete disbelief when I walked further into this small old village in Putian China. One that it was still around and two that there were people still living in some of the old buildings.

当我深入走进莆田这个小村庄的时候，我完全不敢相信我所看到的。我不敢相信居然还有这么落后的地方，而且还有人居住在这样破旧的房屋里。

As a photographer, I held back, why I don't know. In a way, it was very mysterious, and in another, a feeling of emptiness. People live there, but as a whole, it was strainge. Kind of like someone has passed away, and out of respect, you give it its space.

作为摄影师，我止住自己的情绪继续拍摄。在某种程度上，这里是非常神秘的，还有就是空渺的感觉。虽然还有人们住在那里，但总的来说，给人非常奇怪的感觉。就象有人已经去世了，基于对他们的尊重，你留着这些空间给他们。

If I wasn't with my brother in law, I don't think I would have ever done that walk on my own. So with him with me, I did feel a bit welcomed to see the area he grew up​.

如果我不是和我妻子的弟弟一起去，我不认为我会自己去那里。能和他一起去见证他成长的地方，我感到很幸运。
