Although so many things had happened in the past few days, but I think the dust started to settle. I could not make up my mind which side I will be on, because both have their pros and cons. I will remain active curation on the new chain, and I will post on both chains sometimes with different ingredients. This post for example, is a different version from what I've posted on the new chain if you care to find out.

To check for authority

Here we go. Use the above link, change the username to your #steem handle, and you'll be able to see the authority you have given to other dapps. Now why would I make another post about authority in such a short time since I made one just about a week or two ago. That was because I found out some dApp went crazy and started claim reward and causes spam activities to my wallet, so I had to revoke all the authorities and reauthorize them one by one. But today, it's different. I'm talking about making it efficient and protect your future interest in #steem #blockchain. Do take note, some(if not all) of those dApps has removed themselves from the #steem #blockchain, and therefore by having authorization to their "old" account here which does not expire may poses some threat. What if their account got hack? There's no one else will take care of it if the account owner or the dapp developer already left the blockchain. So, it's better to act before it's too late.

To revoke authority

In order to remove authority for certain dApp, please use the above link, change the app name to the one you desired to remove, use your browser URL to execute the command and you're good to go. Now take note I use minnowbooster is not because I have lost hope or no trust to it's operator, but minnowbooster has been announced ceased services, so no point I kept it there. One account less in my authority list would mean easier to manage in the future.

I am not too sure when will you need to use this command, but from what I understand, @wherein-io is having issue with their country of origin where the firewall has blocked the tunnel of coming into #steem. They can choose to use one time VPN to bypass the firewall, authorized the APP and in future they can use their local sign on make a post to the dApp, and the app will be able to post on their behalf into #steem #blockchain.

Summary

To every sickness has it's own cure. I'm not making this up just to write a post. It took way too much time for spam posting. I'm truly believing both side of the chain has their own way in operation. I've now seen more new faces on the trending page, although I lost support from many who has move away from this platform. I've seen majority of the community had moved on to the new chain, but also bringing all the old habits to the new chain. So, the new chain is now the "old steem", however the original #steem had seem some new into it. Reason for this post is for you to manage your authority, be extremely careful and alert to apps that has moved away from #steem. #steemconnect will be withdrawn soon, and therefore I'm making this post with #steemlogin for your convenient of reference in the future. P/S: Epic little foot note, as I was constructing this post for the community in the hope that it will benefit the rest of those who decided to continue to use both #steem and #hive including myself, I truly wanted the best of both world.
