This is a review about The Doors' "Roadhouse Blues" Live Performance

What I think about Jim Morrison and The doors is not easy to explain, You can think about it like if Jim is the main character who is exploding in the music while other members are also affected by his energy and you can hear it in the sounds that they are making, like playing their instruments so passionate. I have to say, it is not just the band, cause you can even see the energy in the audiences when they were performing on the stage which you can see in the video which I added to this post, The song they're performing in this video is called "Roadhouse Blues" by "The Doors".

Roadhouse Blues is a really wild song full of energy, you can hear it in the guitar solo as it plays along with the Rhodes piano, as you might know, The Doors lacked a Bassist in their band so Manzarek was playing it with its Fender Rhodes piano keyboard bass. somehow this song reminds me of Riders on the storm because of its idea about road and driving on the road.

The live performance starts with a Harmonica by John Sebastian, Jim starts to talk with the audience, as they applause, the guitarist (Robby) starts to play a blues riff and Jim shout wildly to the mic, the drummer (John) starts playing a fill and playing along with Electric Guitar. Rhodes piano also added and after playing a little rhyme Manzarek starts playing some blues solo melodies. what I hear is beautiful Rock-Blues music and when Jim starts to sing it became really amazing adding a distorted (fry) vocal to the song, I love that middle part where both the guitarist and keyboard player starts playing solo together, it sounds like an improvised performance. after that section for the second part, Jim sings the second verse and chorus, but the ending part is different as the guitarist adds some nice blues riffs and notes right there. The video is showing different scenes and it is not the exact performance of this song, but the sound is from their concert in N.Y. 1970.

Let me know your idea about this song and if you like to add anything comment below,I hope you enjoyed listening and reading this post!
