Jealousy causes rejoicing when successful people fail.
I believe that jealousy is real disease that must confront. To do that we need to know why people are jealous of others. In other words, why are people jealous of you?
People are jealous of you not because of what you think BUT because of your achievement; not because of your plan BUT because of the fulfilments of the plan.
Jealousy causes rejoicing when successful people fail. Jealousy does not wish success for others. For example, two close friends may have been planning for a long time to erect a beautiful house each. The thought is good and the plan is the grandest that anyone has ever heard of or spoken about. Because of unexpected adverse circumstances, one of the two friends is unable to complete his own building. But the other colleague goes ahead and builds his own house. Then he invites his other friends to join in rejoicing with him over his achievement.
The friends whose plan fails is also invited. In seven cases out of ten the invited friend will not rejoice with his more successful friend. Unless he is a man of peace whose heart is widened by affection, and unless he is, by consecration, one who rejoices at the progress of others, the knot of friendship may be cut finally. This kind of thing happens often in real life situations. Some gifts make other men more equal than others. To possess a special talent is something to be thankful for, but what is more important about the talent is a man’s determination to use in to the greatest advantage of others. But unless you have an atmosphere free of jealousy, you may not be able to use your talents and other gifts happily.
Only very very few of us have the courage to say our fellowmen should increase more than we increase. The attitude that we often show others is, ‘He must decrease, and I must increase’
When you hate because you are jealous, you can throw away God’s blessing that may come to you. You show by attitude that you don’t need such blessing.
Rejoice over the fortunes of your friends, then you will have happy heart and you will be filled with more bounteous blessings.

Jealousy is a killer though out my life I might of been Envious from time to time but I guess that’s normal, I personally think the difference between jealousy and envy depends on whether or not you like the person causing the feelings . Cheers mike
Thx for your contributions.. @mikenevitt
It's very sad what jealousy can cause. It can destroy because it breeds hatred.
I pray it doesn't destroy us.
Nice one
