Good evening, morning or evening wherever you are. I want to share with you about being a a true leader.

Every organized society must have a leader if law and order are to be maintained. I said every organized society, and in this sense I am not making any distinction yet. A gang of thieves does have a leader. Even if members of the gang fall one by one into the hands of the police, there is yet no guarantee of peace and security for a thieves-ridden locality until the leader of the gang has been arrested and silenced through a long term of imprisonment.

The leader of the gang who usually demands allegiance to himself also assigns precise responsibilities to each member of the gang.
Failure to carry out such responsibilities could mean falling from the grace of the leader into disgrace. Syndicates of crimes in the Western nations operate through a chain of operations under the controls of master leaders in the technology of crimes. Obedience and co-operation are the watchwords of these leaders. Any infraction of the rules could mean death.

What are the attribute of a good leader?

There are many quality one must possese to be a good leader but i will mention most important to the best of knowledge or the one i reckon you need to lead.

These qualities are:

A good leader must be courageous – A courageous leader is prepared to take risks when no one else will. A courageous leader has faith in other people. A courageous leader raises difficult issues, is ready to give difficult feedback, and share unpopular opinions.
A good leader must appreciative; how or when to appreciate "A wise leader values their team and the person. Success is only achieved with the help of others. What’s more, genuine appreciation provides encouragement, develops confidence, and builds on strengths.
A good leader must have or possess confidence, it is very important for a leader to trust and have confidence in his or her co-workers, or people's who work under him/her, must be a leadership who is a reliable indicator of employee satisfaction. Good leaders aren’t afraid of being challenged. Their confidence inspires.
A good leader must be compassionate – Compassion is a strength. A good leader uses compassion to perceive the needs of those they leads and to decide a course of action that is of greatest benefit to the person and the team at large.

A good leader must be diligent: - To persevere in conviction, courage, creativity, compassion, and character we need diligence. Good leaders work hard.

A good leader must be fair – Fairness is what people want. Good leaders don’t have favourites in the team. They reward for results not partiality; they promise fairness. And a good leader flexible – The good leader is able to flex. They alter and adapt their style according to the situation, context and circumstances they experience. They welcome new ideas and change.

A good leader must be an honest being else the company or investment will not last longer – Wise leaders are not afraid of communicating the truth to their people. Honesty is about being truthful, having integrity, and building trust. Honesty leads to better more productive relationships. a leader must portrait the attribute of good leadership in everything mostly in term of honest, some leader are hypocritical they only want people who they lead to remain loyal and honest to them, meanwhy they them self are not an honest man, as a leader, you are called serve or lead well.

A good leader must be Responsive – Good leaders are responsive to the needs of those they lead. They adjust their behaviour to best match the situation. They listen to their team; they value their team.

Political parties operate under the direction of leader. The success with which the party can be held together, and the high prospective chances that it will have at the polls will be determined, to a greater extent, by the attitude of its leader as well as by the way he directs the affairs of the party.

The government of a country can succeed or fail in the way it rules the citizens, depending on the kind of man who is at the head of the government. Many stable governments must be attributed to the way a leader leads his people.

Institutions of learning can be a peaceful atmosphere of learning and living if the man or woman who is at its head portrays in his or her character the right image of a leader.

An institution of learning can be an arena for the spilling of blood and of broken ribs, broken limbs, and of damaged skulls if the leader leads with iron hands but fails to carry the followership with him. A leader of a country or of an organization or of an institution must not only be ready to lead but must want to lead.
