The Sky Is Getting Dark 3.6.2020
So the sky is getting darker, we may even have some showers pretty soon. Today I noticed that where I am is that the wind is not that much as it was. Well, not enough to fly a kite.
I went to Curry's today. They had a sale on bottled water, 3 packs of 24 for only $5. There was a line of cars to buy them, they had to buy them in a line outside of the store.
The guy that runs the store, kept saying, it is biblical, time to buy water and we do have water right now. So more people were buying water. Since I have been storing water for years, I thought I would pass on buying water today.
I think it would be wise for people to have a gravity water filter. This way you can make your own filtered water. I like to store water from the water hose in 55 gallon metal barrels. The barrels I bought from a honey business, where the barrels used to hold honey.
I have 4 barrels of water from the garden hose and I have another 3 barrels that hold rain water. If I use the water in these barrels I will first boil, then cool down then filter.
I also have packs of bottled water that I keep for emergencies. Right now all my drinking water I just gather from the faucet and pour it in the gravity water filter.
In Curry's I was talking to some of the people in the line. I think some places are running out of bleach. You can treat water with a certain ratio of bleach to water.
Of course if one is fearful of certain viruses one might mix water and baking soda as a way to fight off viruses. Do a study of the mixture of water and baking soda to fight off the effects of the flu.
There were some people saying that they can't buy masks anymore. I told them that they can make their own masks and drop some peppermint essential oil on the mask as peppermint essential oil is both antiviral and antibacterial.
When I was a kid all the women knew how to use sewing machines. Maybe the use of sewing machines is a lost art. I never mastered the use of a sewing machine, but I can sew with needle and thread.
So the sky is getting dark and soon maybe we will get some rain.
