So Windows 7 Is Ending Soon

Yes, I knew that day would come, I just wanted to keep Windows 7 as long as I could. Well, nothing last forever. I could either put Windows 10 on this computer I am using now or maybe just upgrade to another computer.

Well, I have until January 14, 2020. That is the last day that Window 7 is supported.

Well, my computer is old and it has limited amount of RAM. I am thinking I will save this computer that I am now writing on that I can update at a later time, but I will keep it off line.

Well, without the support I wouldn't want to be online with a non-supported operating system. It would be too easy for others to hack into a non-supported operating system.

I heard that broken down computers end up in third world countries and that it pollutes those countries. Well, I don't want to contribute to that.

Well, I can just save my computer as it is and just keep it off line. I can always update it at a later time.

I am thinking of getting a used computer with Windows 10 Pro and lots of memory. Well a lot more memory than what I am using now, as I like keeping a lot of windows open, but with limited memory, it makes things go slow.

Well, one good thing about buying a used computer is that you are keeping a computer alive and keeping that computer from ending up in a third world country and polluting that country.

So why does Windows 7 have to end? Well, that is one way to force most to go on to Windows 10. It kind of reminds me of when I had AT&T DSL and they forced me to migrate to AT&T Uverse.

Well, I just wanted to stay on the regular DSL at the time as I wanted to save money. I do like the higher speed of Uverse though.

So I will eventually be forced to go on to Windows 10, but not today. Today I am still on Windows 7.
