My Cat In The Morning As I Drink My Coffee

This is my cat that jumped on my distressed wood makeshift coffee table. Yes, I did have my coffee on it, then my cat jumped on it, so I grabbed my coffee.

Well, we all know that cats are territorial. If they like a spot they will clear anything that is crowding them.

That reminds me of the time she took a shelf in my pantry and just started to push away all the canned food on that shelf. Well, if she likes a certain new spot she will clean out that spot as she thinks it is her's now.

The other day I noticed something on the floor, then I looked more closely. Well, it was a hairball. I cleaned it up and through it in the fireplace. I will burn it later.

Now a hairball is something you don't want to step on with your bare feet. It is good to spot them then get rid of them. I remember stepping on one with my socks on. It feels kind of nasty. Best thing to do is to clean it up right away and get it out of your sight.

You know all summer my cat slept somewhere else. Sometimes I don't even know where she sleeps. Last night was pretty cold. Well, that is when I find the cat sleeping on my chest or stomach.

Yes, I guess she couldn't find a place more warm than me.

Well, cats get cold too. I am wearing 2 jackets right now as I write and she is only wearing one jacket right now or its equivalent. Well, when it is cold, I at least know where she is.

Today I had to leave the house for a bit and I called her, but no answer. I called her again and the same thing. So I just locked up and went to do what I had to do.

Then some hours later I went back home. Well, there she is at the door. She couldn't hardly wait to get in. Well, that is where the food is.

I guess when I did call her she was in another backyard and couldn't hear me.

So late in the evening I was in the house, but I did have to go outside again to throw out the garbage and put the garbage can at the street. Well, my cat knows I will have to go out again. So she just makes sure she is in position to go out and run.

Well I let her go out and run as I can't stop her. I know when it gets really cold she will want to get back into the house. So yes I did have to throw out the garbage. I just have a little bag of garbage that I put in the can and the can is out on the street for tomorrow morning when they may pick up the garbage at 4 am in the morning.

So anyway, I waited a bit and let her do her thing, then after an hour or so I opened the door and the cat came right in.

Well, I don't know what my cat is doing at this moment as I am writing, but she is in the house and not bugging me, so I guess she is entertained somewhere else.

Let's end with a scripture, Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? Ecclesiastes 3:21.
