Hello everyone

Today I'll be discussing about the Steemit security system and how we can keep our Steemit account safe..

We also have different types of keys in the Steemit platform and I'll teach you more about the keys and how they can be used..

Types of Keys

Active key

This key is mostly used to confirm transaction or trades or change user settings.

Memo key

The memo Key is used for handling private messages and encrypted transaction.

Master password

The master key enables to retrieve all private keys of an account.

Posting key

This is the first and most used key type, it is used for posting, voting, and commenting.

Owner key

This key required to change all the other keys.This is the key that should be most carefully safeguarded against loss.

Ways we can protect our keys from being used.

• Do not store your password online unencrypte

• Encrypt your wallet and neverever forget your Password.

• Remove all risky access from your system.

• Keep your password hidden.

Just because the password is long it doesn’t mean you are safe.
If you believe somebody else is using your account, change your Password..

Today I'll also be teaching you how to transfer your Steem into someone else account.
In other to make transactions there are step's you should take. I'll show you the steps to take.

How To transfer My Steem Token Into Another User Account

First I visited my wallet then i clicked on STEEM.

After I clicked on STEEM I then clicked on TRANSFER then I saw another option

Here I was asked to input the Receiver name and the amount of asset (Steem).
I did the necessary things which includes inputting the receivers name and the amount of Steem, them I clicked on NEXT to finalize my transaction.

How To Power Up Your Steem

Powering up Steem is also known as transferring your liquid Steem into vesting shares, How is it done #!??

First I clicked on STEEM, I saw the same options but this time I clicked on POWER UP..

Here I was also asked to fill in the amount of liquid Steem that should be transferred into vesting shares

After filling up the amount I clicked on POWER UP to confirm my transaction but this time active key will be needed....
