Johnston Canyon in Banff National Park
Johnston Canyon is one of, or perhaps the most popular hikes in Banff National Park. 45-60 minutes takes you to the Upper Falls (2.7 km or 1.7 mi), approximately 215 m (700 ft) of elevation gain, and only 1.1 km (.7 mi) to the lower Falls. The trail itself is paved and easy to navigate, the best time to go is either early morning or early evening, as it gets quite congested (especially in July and August). Here is a video and photos captured during our last visit.
