The Larch Valley hike is located at Moraine Lake, Banff National Park. If you've never been to Moraine Lake, you MUST go there, the beautiful turquoise color of the lake is incredible!
The hike is 4.3km (2.7mi) in length with 535m of elevation gain (1,755ft). After making your way through the spectacular Larch Valley, you will soon arrive at the Minnestimma lakes! Normally you would see an awe inspiring view of the Valley of the Ten Peaks, but last Tuesday the weather unfortunately was not so cooperative, anyways, I did manage to get a view nice pics.
Wow, amazing photographs, well done. The clouds and landscape also give it a kind of an "eerie" feeling. Ie if it was time for a zombie apocalypse in nature, there is where it would take place. ;)
Looks like the mountains are boiling
Sort of doesn't it!
Wow you are a great photographer.
