We've made it to the top of the Sulphur Mountain Gondola, in Banff National Park. The ride was a lot of FUN! The views from the top were quite amazing, even though the skies were somewhat hazy due to the B.C. forest fires. The mountain across the valley is Rundle Mountain and the smaller closer "hill" is called Sanson's Peak. An old meteorological station named after Norman Sanson, who used to climb Sulphur Mountain frequently to record meteorological data back in the earlier 1900's. He made over 1,000 trips to the top!
I love mountains and this place is amazing :)
