This is a great shot. There are so many different elements working together here..
The snow and darkness, the heat and the "smoke/steam", the beautiful color in the sky, and the dismal greyish town in this light.
It should receive an award, or put in a gallery somewhere. It's a picture that if you are patient enough to study it, it's a picture worth 5,000 words instead of the standard 1,000 words.
I like this photo a lot.
