great post, nice pictures, I would love to be in a place like that once, in my country only snow falls on the top of the mountains and volcanoes, unfortunately I live very close to the coast and almost all around the year, climate is calid humid, with regular rains in summer, and when I go somewhere where it is cold I enjoy it, @daveks I invite you to take a look at the landscapes that I captured with my camera yesterday, greetings

Under the layer of snow lay the path that was obviously traveled for as far as I could see. But your parting shot, well, it lay hushed as it had truly silenced my words.

I think it's going to snow a lot this year I'm in Calgary
So cold the first one not use to it since no snow here in Phils. i like the second photo much no snow and so relaxing .. thank you @daveks
Yellow fields are pretty but I really like the snowy photo. I like to look at snow, but don't enjoy the cold that goes with it...lol
