How I Turned $8 Into $130 In 2 Days - DH-3

in #money7 years ago

Hey Steemit friends!

This is Dave Espino and today we're talking about "picking" at flea markets.

We’re going to be going to a flea market this morning.

One of my favorite flea markets, in fact, where I almost always find amazing stuff to resell and flip on eBay and Amazon.

Today, I’m looking for anything that can make us a five to ten times profit.

I’ve been buying and selling at flea markets since I was 7 years old.

I get to do this and it’s like second nature. It’s just so much fun and it’s a great way to spend the morning and turn five or ten dollars into a hundred dollars pretty easily when you follow the strategies that I teach.

I’m excited here to share with you a very cool find that I picked up on Monday at my local flea market.

Flea Market Course

On Monday, I was walking my local flea market. My son wanted to go because it’s been a while since we went and I guess he had fun memories of going to the flea market with Dad.

We went out there and one of the first things I picked up was this set, this audio set of 12 CDs by Tony Robbins.

Now, if you’re familiar with Tony Robbins, or not, he’s an inspirational, motivational speaker.

He affects dramatic life change on people. He’s able to help a lot of people around the world. He happens to have a special right now on Netflix that you can check out as well.

This particular set of 12 CD’s is a fairly highly-regarded set.

As you can see here, these are six of the CD’s and then the other package has the other six CD’s.

I was excited to get this.

This is the type of product that I like to pick up at flea markets, at thrift stores, at yard sales, garage sales, local auctions, you name it, estate sales.

The type of thing that I’m talking about here is DVD and CD sets, compilations and box sets. These tend to be pretty good.

I’m NOT talking about TV or movie boxed sets or, like, Season One of Friends or Season One of The Sopranos or anything like that. Those don’t do very well.

I’m talking about specialty items such as this Tony Robbins’ set, such as workout DVD’s, video sets, things like that, like "Insanity" or some of these other workout DVD sets.

The reason these are good is because, if they’re sold locally, (like at a flea market, thrift store, goodwill or yard sale) typically, they don’t have much value to the seller in those venues.

The seller has a hard time getting rid of these products, locally.

However, these products happen to have really high value on the internet.

What you’re doing is you’re taking advantage of what I call “Geographic Arbitrage.”

Geographic Arbitrage is where you take something from a local area, (where it doesn’t have a whole lot of demand) and then you sell it on a global platform like Amazon or eBay. (where it has a VERY very high demand)

I call it Geographic Arbitrage because you’re taking something from a local area where it doesn’t have much value and you’re putting it somewhere where it has tremendous value.

I’m excited because I bought these 2 days ago and just a few minutes ago, somebody clicked the "make offer" button on this set, which I had listed at $150.

Well, somebody just hit that "make offer" button at $130 and so I thought to myself, “You know, I paid $8 for this set. I think I could take $130.” :)

So I went ahead and accepted the offer.

Bam! Immediately, the person paid me right away, instantly, via PayPal!

I now have $140 in my pocket! ($10 of which I can use for shipping and the rest of it is profit)

I’m totally excited that I was able to turn $8 into $130 on eBay.

Why? Because of the type of products that I know to pick up and that I know do well on eBay.

That’s the idea. This is 1,600% profit, guys.

This is the kind of thing I’m talking about.

By the way, I published a whole video training on the SPECIFIC types of items that you can pick up at flea markets, thrift stores, yard sales, local auctions, garage sales and local swap meets to make big profits with.

Basically, anywhere where you can buy something locally near you, like at a Thrift Store, Goodwill store or whatever, that’s where you can find these types of items.

And there are all kinds of OTHER items besides just media type items that I talked about in the course.

For example:

Here's a Polaroid Camera that I bought for just $3 at a local flea market and sold for $140 on eBay:

Flea Market Course

The course is about flea market shopping, but it actually applies to everything.

It applies to anywhere that you can buy products locally and I show you how to get 200%, 500%, 1000%, 2000% profits on those items that you’d find locally.

How?

I actually show you the actual products that I bought, then I show you how much I paid for them and then I show you how much I made on those items on eBay!

I even give you a whole list of some of these types of items that you can seek out in your local area that are high-demand on the internet, maybe not so high-demand locally.

That’s Geographic Arbitrage, guys.

I just wanted to share that with you, it’s an incredible way to make some fast & easy money.

Here’s the point I want to make about this...

I knew what to buy at my local flea market.

I paid $8 for it.

The guy wanted $5 each.

I got him down to $8 for the pair.

I put them in a 3-day listing and got an offer.

So I thought, “What the heck? $130? YES! I’ll take my profits now and move on to the next thing.”

Literally, in two days from the time of listing these, I turned $8 into $130, a 1600% profit.

Guys, the reason I’m telling you this and the reason I’m harping on it is because, if you need $130, really quickly, or if you need $100, or $50 or $200 really quickly, there’s no better way in my opinion, than to go in to your local area, find the types of products that I teach you to find, pick them up for dollars and turn them into hundreds of dollars.

I’m telling you as a friend, as somebody who cares about you.

Listen, I’ve been in that situation as well, myself.

There were times when, we’re talking about 9 or 10 years ago, when things were really difficult for me and I had to do this type of flipping just to survive.

I had to do this to buy $8 items turn them into $150.

I know what I’m talking about when it comes to finding high-demand items that you can make big profits with.

Anyway, if you’d like to learn more, I have a full-blown course all about this.

You can just look at the link below. (I’ve given you a major discount on my flea market course. Just remember that the course applies to everything local, whether it’s flea markets, yard sales, garage sales, local auctions, you name it, goodwill stores or thrift stores. The same strategies apply. You’re looking for the same products, no matter which of those places you go to and you can find them and turn them into quick cash. )

I’m talking fast money, by flipping them on eBay and taking good offers, making some good deals on eBay.

Be sure to check out that link below. I’ve got a special deal for you.
