Great find. I love to find a "hidden gem" myself, whether it be a place to eat, park, walk, play, you get the idea. The nature ones are ones that make you wonder because we often try to exploit them and make them a landscape feature or something that will likely lose its natural beauty, dependent on where you are in the country.
I can remember playing in rubber boots near a little waterfall in a creek that basically no one knew about because no one ever trudged their way down there except me and a few friends. At least as far as we knew? In hindsight, it was a terrible idea because we could've ran into some maniacs living there in tents or simply just got hurt or drowned and it would've taken too long for any of us to get help. This as a child of the 80's when there no cell phone to simply call for help in everyone's pocket. It too thing was a thing of beauty though too. Nice find.
Ha, well I never ran into you back in my younger days, but I gotta believe that for as deep as I was in the woods at a nice body of water, that probably someone was camping there during summer months if they had no place else to be.
I know exactly where you're at! You can see that waterfall and the wheel from the highway. It was one of my favorite landmarks to look for on the way home from snow boarding! I didn't know there was a path back there and you could get so close though! That's freaking rad! Enjoy 💜
@davedickeyyall, In my opinion, no matter if it's an situation, place or thing, for every aspect there is an right time, so you've found this Walking Trail today because time allowed this finding for this day.
And where you are standing that place is so amazing and in my opinion great place for the Morning and Evening walk. And no matter where we live and how busy environment we hold, we should walk in nature because it slows down our time and can give the warm essence.
