Introduction

Hello guys, it is a privilege to share on my side Hustle on campus as a student in an amazing community called the @campusconnect It's a privilege to be amidst you friends, to share my view and idea on the above topic. To make it easier and more explanatory for my dear readers, I will be answering the questions below to ease the understanding of the above topic.

Question

What is your side hustle?

Side hustle in my own words simply means an engagement an individual is involved in aside from the primary aim or purpose of whatever he or she does at a particular time e.g schooling. Fortunately, I was a student at the university and I can attest to this very topic. School life wasn't too easy for some of us and then we do one or two things to cover up a space of buying soap and other things to balance the expenditure and income. Some students because of their tough situations and the need for money they needed, tend to abandon their lectures and keep selling to get some income and settle dues or fees in the school.

My side hustle while in school was a seller, I sold peanut and pen and how I was doing it was, anywhere I went especially to night reading(some students can't read without chewing something in their mouth), during lectures (Some students might get hungry as the class moves on), and some times I take it to the fellowship in the evening and most student goes to the class to read at night so, most of them buy as they go to read. For the pen, one or two students must have one complaint or the order about the loss of pen, and there, I get customers. That has been the side hustling I've been doing while in school and it has helped and kept me busy as a good student.

Question

How do you merge both the side hustle and education on campus?

There is always a way of making things possible when it seems impossible. Situations make an individual knows how to balance both sides to cover up shame. The fact is that doing this as a student is never easy but you have to do so to cover up the shame to be among and Participating in what other students are doing in the class. How I could merge both sides of hustle and education was my timing. I was always keeping to my time and what helped too was the timetable I drafted for myself, I was so disciplined as well such that when I should already be done with the frying of peanuts should be timed and the time I start moving for the lecture must be timed also and by so doing, I could merge the two despite not easy.

Question

How many hours do you work a week on your side hustle?

I use 3 hours a day to prepare the peanut including frying and everything and the joy is that I make one measure of peanut every blessed day and it gets finished. Multiplying this 3 hours times seven days because I prepare and sell every day till Sundays, it gives 21 hours a week. How I do it was, after classes I start frying and baking with flour and I always make sure I have the items steady in my room and I buy 5 rubbers of biro to sell for a whole semester.

Guys, I appreciate your efforts in reading my post to this point, and I appreciate your time and energy spent, at this point, I invite @Josepha, @yakspeace, and @olabillions to participate in this wonderful contest.
