I feel really bad for President Trump...Can Social or Racial issues derail a President

in #politics7 years ago (edited)

I don't agree with all that he does and all that he says but I am a strong believer in economic empowerment and I am encourage and entertain folks who advocate that. I feel like the cards in the pack are falling apart, and the media is strategically isolating him and his associates. He certainly isn't helping his case as he fights fire with fire. I see a big vacuum with Carl Ichan gone and if Gary Cohen and Steve Mnuchin call's it a day, it would be a mountain for him to climb.

I am not a supporter but I feel the media should at least give him a fair opportunity to turn things around. I wasn't impress with 8 years of Obama but he tried and I respect that. I got nothing but mad love for him but there are areas where he failed miserably. His silence in 2011 and lack of interest in addressing economic depression within communities were enough red flags for me. It is my hope that Trump is given the opportunity to address those issues as he mention it in his not to famous moment "What do you got to lose". Certainly the truth is ugly and probably he could of said it nicer but at least its just facts that he is stating.

These social and racial issues is a never ending battle. Its far better that people speak their minds than being politically correct. Playing politics with these social issues and capturing political points is nothing new. Our history is ugly nothing we should be proud of, great political figures have address these issues, even some of our greatest humanitarian figures have sorted peace but ever so often some things play out that makes it seem like nothing has change. I can speak about the Black and Hispanic community because it is something I am familiar with, their plights are quite similar if the present dynamics continues some would rise up from their situation but the community as whole would remain the same. Unless we seek economic empowerment, exactly what President Trump is preaching nothing much would change.

How much has change, probably this John F. Kennedy video would help shed some light on the importance of economic empowerment

I say this to say, we been talking about these social and racial issues for awhile but we at least understand that the economic deposition of some of these groups aren't helping and someone is finally trying to address it.

I got mad love for people, doesn't matter race, we must learn to accept the reality within some of our communities. If someone want's to address that, give him the opportunity. These social and racial crusaders if they ain't talking about your economic empowerment then you are another slave within their scheme. They would exploit the shit out of you and you would remain on minimum wage singing one of those soulful 'oldlie goldie'.

I am certainly against the break-up of families and his target against certain the Muslim communities. An I am certainly against his "Wall", particularly against some of the extreme immigration rules. If he last, would be nice for him to adopt a softer side and probably take a measured approach with his words.

If my stance hurt anyone in anyway, its nothing personal. Whether you White, Black, Brown or Yellow, your personal bank statement is one of the few things that really matters.
