Urban Elephant

As I told you, I had semester 5 exams the last month. The exams started on the 15th of December and ended on the 31st of December. The exam timetable was very different this time. There was plenty of space between some exam dates, but some are packed. The closely packed ones are the ones with the highest credits.

when we first saw the timetable, we were so happy as there are plenty of space between some modules. But when we were facing it, we were depressed. Personally, I like it if an exam ends quickly. On exam day too, I hardly learn anything if I study alone. So I studied with @sandun98 and the other friends. I usually feel like ‘why do they not give me the paper just now?’

we had 5 days to get ready for the last two subjects. There was a subject with 4.5 credits. And the other was 3. So many didn’t go home. I too didn’t come home hoping to study hard for the remaining two specially because I didn’t do well in some of the subjects. I wanted to compensate for that.

I didn’t go home hoping to study but felt exhausted and uneasy. Nothing went to my mind from which I studied. It was late to go home when I realized that I should have gone home for a day and returned with a fresh mind. But then no time to go home and come. I was in a really bad mood then.

My friend from the hostel called me and asked me to join them to go have some food from a restaurant near Moratuwa. The name is Urban Elephant. Even the name made me feel curious and I loved the idea and joined them. They ordered egg ones(not chicken) because of me. we bought fried rice, a chicken dish for them and egg pasta. All the food was delicious. I loved pasta. I liked the place too. It was a small place but a good one. They told me noodles are also tasty in that shop. But we didn’t buy it this time.

when I came back, I was having the mood to study. But not at the same moment. I was filled so I had a nap and then I started studying.

Good friends are so rare and harder to find, but if you find one, you are so lucky. This friend is also that kind of a friend to me. Her company always make me feel better.
